James Marine ("we") is a Texas-based waterfront construction company. This page explains what information we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you submit a contact form or quote request, we collect the information you give us: typically your name, phone number, email address, the service you're interested in, and any project details you share. We also receive standard server logs (IP address, browser user agent, referring page) that any web server collects to operate and protect the site.
Why we collect it
We use your contact information for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry, schedule a free estimate, and quote your project. If you ask us to follow up later in the year, we'll keep your information on file so we can. We don't sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.
Who sees it
Inquiry information goes to the James Marine owner and the small team that handles scheduling. We also CC a Frontend Horizon archive address (our website platform partner) for backup and operational support. Nobody else sees your submission.
Third-party services
To run the site and respond to leads, we use a small number of third-party services:
- Resend — delivers contact-form notifications to our inbox.
- Supabase — hosts static image assets and (optionally) stores form submissions for retrieval if email fails.
- Coolify / cloud hosting — serves the website itself.
- Google Search Console / Bing Webmaster — tells us what queries bring visitors to the site. No personal information shared.
Cookies
This site uses essential cookies to remember basic browsing state. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not run remarketing pixels. If we add analytics in the future, we'll update this page first.
Your rights
Want a copy of what we have on file for you? Want it deleted? Just email or call us — contact info is on every page. We'll handle it within a reasonable timeframe.
Updates
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and bump the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes affecting how we handle existing contacts will be communicated directly to the people affected.
